I don't understand why MK, an American company risked the company's image of quality products and start manufacturing cheap tile saws made in china. I was quite upset when I open the MK 159943 MK-370 7" 1-1/4 HP Tile Saw box and saw the made in china sticker. It takes about 30 minutes to assemble the stand and everything else together. The assembly was easy; however, when I powered on the motor, it made a loud cutter noise and the water pump sucks. I will not buy another MK product.

Use for wet cutting tile and marble. Powerful high-torque universal motor. Sliding aluminum die-cast cutting table accommodates 18" tiles. Tilting head allows for precise 45 degree miter cuts. Maintenance-free, self-lubricating pinion and gear-box assembl y. Chrome guide-bar and linear bearing assembly ensures accurate tracking and alignment. 3/4" diameter chrome-plated linear guide-bar system. Heavy-duty on/off switch. Built-in water pump receptacle. Hinged blade guard for easy blade changes. Single piece zinc-plated steel frame for rigidity, strength and durability. High-impact removable thermoplastic water reservoir. MK-Safeswitch prevents saw from being operated when locking key is removed. One-year limited warranty.
